THE HEDGEHOGS WHO EAT

If you are going to have a hedgehog you should know what to eat. If you already own one and want to feed him something different keep reading.
Hedgehogs like dogs have certain foods they can not eat, whether they cause them diarrhea or intoxication, so be aware of feeding your hedgehog for two reasons:
1. You must control your weight: since some hedgehogs may be overweight, in another update there will be a post about weight and sport in hedgehogs.
2. Your hedgehog may eat something that causes illness, among other things.
HERE RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Do not give cold or fresh food out of the refrigerator.
- Leave you water and fresh food, in the morning or at noon and at night.
- Leave the worms or fruits apart from the food, in small portions.
- Feeding the hedgehogs should be varied with fribras, minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates and proteins.
- in case your hedgehog leaves some food removed to not get used to old or damaged food.
FOOD ALLOWED:
- cooked chicken
- cooked fish (salmon, tuna ....)
- cooked turkey
- boiled egg
- banana Watermelon
- cantaloupe
- pear
- Apple
- Berries
-Mint
-Chamomile
- cooked carrot
- cooked stews
- cooked potatoes
-Turnip
- radish
- cucumber
FOODS PROHIBITED:
- Lactose (hedgehogs are lactose intolerant, but they love it)
- sweets (chocolate, snacks, sweets ...)
- grapes and derivatives
-Pineapple
- nuts (they hurt your teeth and can get stuck in your throat)
- onion (making them prone to anemia)
- peppers
- chili pepper
- Garlic
- orange, lemon and citrus Corn
